Pukeko Preschool offers a unique opportunity for children to experience quality early childhood education in an idyllic rural setting, in our new purpose built centre.
We are a not for profit, community-led, licensed Early Childhood Centre. Nestled next to Tauwhare Primary School, our small preschool with a big heart provides a solid start to your child’s education.
We are dedicated to providing a variety of stimulating, challenging and exciting play based learning experiences and activities in a well-resourced preschool which supports your child in developing to their full potential.

To create a learning-rich environment, where the tamariki are empowered to develop life-skills and a life-long love of learning, through real-life experiences in te taiao (the natural world), and where relationships are based on a foundation of mutual trust and respect for all their learning and development.
